I’m kind of that girl, who has her father as her no.1 man on this planet. Eventho we rarely talking, because we’r also not that so expressive to state our feelings. He often keeps silent, yet I know he’s always watching me. Never force something, coz he knows that I’ll always have my own expectation. Mother phoned me, but I know it was my father who really wanna do it and asked her to do so. He’s the one who would be happier when I’m happy, and feel broken when I’m sad.

This Ramadhan brings those memories.. when he carried me on his back while going home from the mosque after i’tikaf. What old times.

Nothing as big as my love for you, dad. All I wanna do is to make you feel proud of me. 💞❤️💖 #FeelingEmosyenel

I can’t stop telling people that I love my dad so much. But weirdo, I can’t tell him directly so often instead. Maybe you’re also aware when you see my this blog’s title: Daddy’s Little Warrior. I dedicated to him. Well.. since I was a kid I realize that I wasn’t born a princess, and my parents never raised me to be one. Instead, they raised me to be “a warrior”, a person who can survive in any condition of life, and I’m thankful for that.

If only you know my father very well, we are so much alike, maybe not apparent physically, but in basic character and attitudes (unfortunately including all the bad habits). I always see him as a mirror, I see myself in him, and he’s in me, even for little things. When I am confused analyzing myself, I usually end up finding the answer in him, I almost always act, react, and think exactly like him. I’m just his other version. I know how he works so hard for his family and never complains to surrender his life to his loved ones. So this time, all I can say is.. “so will I, dad”. I’ll be ashamed if I give up on life just by remember you. Even when everything seems bleeding and depressing. [BukuBaru] Filosofi Agile & Panduan Scrum

masih bau kertas, siap langsung disampul :3

So, ceritanya beberapa bulan lalu diminta jadi proof reader buat buku temen, sang master of #SCRUM, ceo-nya Agile Campus, yang juga front-end software developer, @RizkySyaiful. Kayaknya itu pas beberapa saat setelah aku nulis di blog “Scrum tu apaan sik?“, metode yang kayaknya jadi happening terutama karena disebutin di serial Silicon Valley-nya HBO. Awalnya sih sama Scrum-nya sendiri antara tertarik gak tertarik. Tapi kalo untuk jadi pembaca awal dari draft buku orang lain, itu rasanya menyenangkan, hehe.. Selain permintaan testimoni juga ditujukan untuk sekalian mewakili generasi Y yang dekat dengan dunia digital startup maupun ekosistem bisnis pada umumnya.

Hmm.. Setelah dibaca, ternyata buku ini bukan cuma ngomongin Scrum, horee.. tapi juga manajemen organisasi, sistem, tim, proyek dan segala unsur yang para entrepreneur mesti ngeh kalo pengen scale up. Dijelasin pula berdasarkan pengalaman-pengalaman secara jelas dan efektif. (Seefektif algoritma prohemer sekelas bro Rizky :p)

Dan akhirnya sekarang ni buku udah cetak & terbit untuk umum, yay! Cukup hepi juga liat hasilnya. Semoga bisa bawa manfaat buat orang-orang yang baca yaa.. Dan makasih juga buat bro Rizky yang udah jauh-jauh bawain buku fisiknya ini buat Hani =D

Jangan Telat Perpanjang Domain!

Haaaaiii…!! 😀

Here is my another daily note. Something that might be very common for some people, but could be an information for others, so I choose to share it with you guys..

Jadiii… ceritanya kan aku ngelola beberapa domain yang aktif nih, entah itu untuk pribadi ataupun usaha. Untuk yang belum tau apa itu domain, bisa cek lebih lengkap disini, atau gampangnya sih; nama website,  kayak halo.com, halo.net, dll, dimana untuk pake domain itu, kalian harus sewa dalam jangka waktu tertentu, yang standarnya sih per tahun.

Nah, ternyata, ada salah satu domainku yang masuk masa expired seminggu lebih yang lalu. Emang sih, ada email pemberitahuan sebelumnya, tapi karena gak sempet, jadi ya belom ditanggepin. Terus, baru inget kemaren, dan pas login ke website penyedia domain-nya, ternyata kok jadi gak ada di daftar aku. Nanya langsung ke customer service, dan tadaaa… ternyata dia bilang domain aku jadi udah masuk “Queue to Deletion”. Ngek. Rrr… oke… jadi gimana tuh? Bla bla bla bla… intinya, kalo mau perpanjang sekarang, kita jadi harus bayar 10x lipat dari harganya. Dhuarrr! Hmmm… ngitung-ngitung, kalo yang standarnya 110rb/tahun jadi 1,1 juta dong? yang 200rb jadi 2 juta? dan kalo 400rb jadi 4 juta? Huweee…

“Well, okay.. is there another option, please?”
 
Dan ya, ternyata ada opsi lain. Yaitu kita harus nunggu 70-90 hari sampe domain itu dihapus, terus kita beli baru lagi dengan harga normal. “Okay, that’s more make sense…” but hey, wait! Masalahnya, domain yang (terpaksa) gak aktif itu, hostingnya lumayan gede (hosting = tempat nyimpen data website, bayar juga, makin gede kapasitas, makin mahal). Dan hosting-annya itu emang kebetulan punya masa expired yang beda. So, kalo mesti nunggu 90 hari, itu artinya selama 3 bulan, hostingnya jadi nganggur, gak kepake sama sekali, dan jadi mubadzir. *sigh* Itupun setelah ditanyain lagi, ternyata sang customer service gak bisa mastiin tanggal “penghapusannya” itu kapan, cuma bisa ngasih range waktunya aja. Jadi kalo domain kalian “hot” banget, ya mesti wanti-wanti juga, takutnya pas udah kehapus, eh tiba-tiba udah keburu langsung disamber orang. *double sigh* (Berlebihan sih emang, tapi kan namanya juga “kalo”, muehehehe…)
Jadi, pilihan aku sekarang sih, perpanjang domain hari ini juga, atau ya relain aja hosting-nya jadi mubadzir, haha… Ya.. demikianlah. Udah dulu ya. Aku mau ngitung dan nimbang-nimbang dulu nih mending gimana. Ciaaooo~ X’D

Scrum? Apaan tu?

Langsung inget kalimatnya opa Einstein di atas begitu Yuricho Billy cerita soal pertanyaannya ke seorang Scrum Master tentang apa itu Scrum, gunanya apa, dan kenapa kita harus pake Scrum, yang mana jawabannya dirasa gak bikin ngerti sama sekali. Gak jelas.

Bikin gw juga jadi penasaran sebenernya Scrum itu apa, secara lagi lumayan happening, jadi mulai banyak workshop-nya juga, dan orang-orang (katanya) jadi ikutan make (entah karena mereka emang udah beneran ngerti atau biar keliatan up-to-date aja). Dan tantangannya adalah, setelah ntar gw pelajari, apakah gw bisa menjelaskan secara sederhana soal ini ke si Cocho dan bikin dia ngerti? Haha..

Baca, baca, baca, dan ha! Gak ada yang menarik ~,~

Oke, yang gw tangkep adalah.. Scrum ini sejenis salah satu metode manajemen gimana caranya handle suatu project (yang disini lebih bertendensi ke bidang IT development) untuk mengefektifkan cara kerja dan jadi jembatan antara keinginan project owner dan developer (karena project owner berorientasi waktu, harus on time sesuai perjanjian ke klien, sedangkan developer bukan robot yang skill-nya bisa ditekan kalo mau hasil bagus). Salah satu caranya adalah membagi masa pengerjaan project ke dalam beberapa termin, dimana tiap selesai satu termin, kita semua harus meeting dan review bareng, termasuk expose progress itu ke sang klien biar doi tau update-annya. Cuma jadi agak ribet disini karena pake banyak istilah, ya artifacts lah, backlog, sprint, increment, bla bla bla.. ^^

Sekilas langsung inget dan jadi mirip sama Lean Startup (ya nggak sih?). Cuma bedanya, Lean Startup fokus ke produk, sedangkan si Scrum lebih concern ke orang-orangnya juga. Inti objektifnya sama; efektifitas. Kenapa jadi beken? Jelas, karena konsep ini dateng dari pusat teknologi dunia dan terbukti berhasil di sana. But again.. gak semua yang sukses di luar bisa berhasil di Indonesia, dan sebenernya gak harus juga semua diadaptasi kemari. Ya.. lumayan sih buat jadi referensi, tapi kenyataannya, punya metode yang macem2 kadang justru lebih menarik, hehe.. atau lebih bagus ya kita bikin metode sendiri (kali-kali) terus dinamain dan bikin itu worldwide :))

How to Deal With Difficult Conversation

Have you ever feel stuck in a conversation, while you still want to keep on talking, discussing something, but anything gets harder to handle and just be worse instead? I have a lot, either with “friend”, colleagues, or family. The problem with “friend”, sometimes you just want to continue the hard times because you still want to be connected, you keep on trying hoping it could attract good reactions and approach with nice impression. But your partner might not reciprocate by as you wish. And it’s hard, I know. I know exactly so I can feel you xP

With colleagues, the factors could be varied. Even sometimes for tiny things. But for this case, I didnt allowed feelings involved, so it safe. With family, owh, it’s even harder. I have brother and mother who didnt always agree with me, and yea, we argued. (My father? Well, you dont have to worry about him. I always be his little princess. And since he usually prefer to stay quiet, I perceive that he’s always on my side. My #1 man on this planet).

So,

I faced many difficult conversations with humans. Eventho I declared myself as an extrovert, love to meet people, read a lot, and feel that I never limit and create boundary on specified topics. But the difficulty is also belongs to me. So when there is a psychology people give advices to me about how to deal with it, my curiousity level is on maximum. I often believe on science and on psychology. Not merely because it learned in school, but my tendency is they taking patterns. I’m sure every single thing in this galaxy has a pattern. People need time and consistency to catch and map it, something that not everyone could afford. (if my time is really unlimited, perhaps i want to learn much more than I did, urgh).

Here are the advices that I got:

1) First, we need to calm. If we Hulk Out, it’s little more than a screaming match and nothing gets accomplished.

2) Dont make statements. Ask questions. The other person will interpret it as a veiled form of fighting back.

3) Treat them like a child. No, it doesnt mean be condescending. But we wouldn’t try to rationalize with a screaming child. And we wouldn’t get angry with them for yelling.

4) Ask “what would you like me to do?”

5) Speak slowly. Anything that slows the situation down is good for us.

6) Start sentences with “I’d like…” not “You are…”

7) Let them have the last word. Needing to have the last word is like quitting at mile 26 of the marathon. We’ve done everything right up until now. Do not let our ego screw up everything at the last minute.

Those are the things that we (me and you all) can try. Good communicator has always good position in society.

Last but not least, there is one thing that I wish I could posses: sense of humour. Uh yeah, it such an expensive gift. Everytime I see it on a man, I always think perhaps it was innate. But really, be a humorous is such a bless for those who use it well. Let me know if there is people who sell it, hahaha…

Value of work. Make leader rethink.

So, I just watched a TEDx video and get some good insights from it. Seems like a simple ones yet quite sufficient to be awared and realized, especially if you’re a leader, either in work or community.

We usually think that our people work mostly for money, wage, or kind of that sort. That’s their main motivation or at least a thing that could move them to do something, the easiest way to order. Well.. that’s not incorrect. But from the experiment, the research, “meaning” also takes important role of their work.

Actually there are 6 things that mentioned here (as you can see above);

+ Meaning

+ Creation

+ Challenge

+ Ownership

+ Identity, and

+ Pride

You can give them money, but how about the quality? It was well explained by taking the IKEA assembling as an example. Or cake mixes. Once, there was product about cake mixes. You know, like an instant cake where you just need to pour it in, stir some water in it, put in the oven, and voila! You have a cake. But when you’ve done that, if you offer it to (maybe) your guest, you might not say “hey, here is my cake”, because you feel somebody out there has done this part. There was no big effort involved, it didnt really feel like your own, people lose meanings. So what did the company do? they took the egg and the milk out of the powder, let people do the more process themselves. Now it has become more difficult, but people love them, it feels fine. That’s about challenge and pride, meaning and ownership. Interesting, eh? While giving difficulties to others aint making them miserable but giving a value instead.

Besides, dont forget to also respect of our people’s performance, even just by scanning and saying “uh-huh” of their work. Give them confidence. Even if there’s a chance, give them spaces to show-off in public, pride is really something that money cant buy.

Hopefully we can be a better leader in each day 😀

Korupsi Itu Gak Logis

Assalamu’alaikuum.. hehe..

Ini adalah bener-bener postingan kilat, maksain diri untuk nulis, walaupun cepet-cepet dan pendek. Adalah hasil ngobrol-ngobrol sama seorang dosen psikologi yang juga belajar ilmu filsafat dan agama. Sebenernya simpel sih bahasannya. Tapi entah kenapa pengen aja diposting di blog. Yaa.. anggep aja biar gak lupa.

Ngomongin soal korupsi, apalagi di Indonesia, kayaknya emang gak bakal abis-abis. Saat tulisan ini diposting, nominal minimal tindak korupsi yang diusut adalah 1 milyar. Artinya, kalo ada seseorang yang melewati batas itu, sudah layaklah dia ditangkep KPK dan disebut koruptor, tukang makan duit orang, duit rakyat. Lalu gimana dengan besaran uang yang jauh lebih kecil? Kenyataannya, kita semua rentan terhadap perilaku itu, entah miskin atau kaya, dengan berbagai macam penyebab. Gak ada hubungannya sama agama, karena terbukti yang sekarang pada ketangkep, juga justru orang-orang yang keliatannya cukup religius. Lantas, apa yang salah?

Secara simpel, kenalan saya dosen ini berpendapat, “ada logika dalam Islam yang orang-orang itu lupa, Han” | ??? . Lalu dia menjelaskan:

1. Untuk setiap muslim, kita semua seharusnya tau dan sudah meyakini, bahwa rejeki orang itu sudah ada jatahnya masing-masing. Yang artinya apa? Rejeki kita itu sungguh-sungguh sudah ada takarannya, dan tugas kita hanyalah menjemputnya. Kalo kita korupsi, tapi memang belom rejeki, toh korupsinya belom tentu berhasil juga toh? Karena memang apa yang akan kita dapat itu sudah ditentukan. Lalu untuk apa kita menjemput rejeki kita dengan cara yang dimurkai Allah dan dibenci manusia?
2. Orang yang korupsi sebenarnya dia bukan mengambil harta orang lain. Karena ada istilah “rejeki itu gak akan ketuker”. Apa yang dia dapat adalah rejeki dia sendiri, hanya mungkin dengan mempercepat yang belum saatnya. Jadi, sebenarnya, untuk apa???

Bahasan simpel kan? Tapi entah kenapa saya kagum aja sama beliau pada saat ngomong begitu. Mungkin karena memang tipe orang yang bisa mensinkronkan ajaran agama dengan logika yang bisa diterima orang lain.

Intinya sih, kesimpulan semua ini, dalam Islam, korupsi itu bukan cuma haram, tapi juga sebenarnya gak logis. Titik.

Google Rule The World, You Have No Privacy

Lama gak ngeblog, gemes rasanya, banyak yang pengen di-share. Kebetulan kali ini lagi ada yang mentrigger untuk posting lagi, jadi mari kita cikidaw.

Sesuai judulnya, sebenernya udah lama banget pengen nulis topik ini: Google Rule The World. Well, karena umumnya orang tau Google sebagai mesin pencari. Tapi kalo menilik jauh ke belakang bisnisnya, kok kayaknya gak abis-abis lini bisnis mereka, melingkupi hampir semua hajat di kehidupan kita, bahkan jauh di atas kehidupan standar manusia. Beberapa yang bisa disebutin diantaranya adalah, mereka punya project bikin moon rover robot untuk ke bulan (Google Lunar X Prize: lunar.xprize.org) yang bakal beneran berangkat ke bulan tahun 2015, mereka juga udah beliBoston Dynamics, institut robotik yang develop robot-robot humanoid (bostondynamics.com), merekabikin chips sendiri, mereka punya perusahaan kesehatan bernama Calico, mereka masuk ranah politik dengan develop constituteproject.org, yang ngasi fasilitas ke para penyusun konstitusi dengan cara mempesenjatai mereka berbagai tools, termasuk untuk para warga sipil biasa yang pengen membandingkan konstitusi antar negara di dunia, mereka punya perusahaan satelit, mereka produksi hardware kayak handphone Nexus, wearable-technology Google Glass, dll, segala macem yang kayaknya susah disebutin satu-satu, yaa apalagi kalo yang emang ngurusin urusan-urusan harian manusia, kayak online store dan termasuk wedding organizer (google.com/weddings/#/announce-the-news) #uhuk xP. Yaa singkatnya sih, sampe ada yang bilang, mereka tuh jadi kayak semacam “Tuhan Digital”. Fyuh~

Can you guess what crossed my mind at the first time I saw all these stuffs?
“Oh God… what kind of future is coming…” X’)))

Ya, tapi balik lagi. Terlalu banyak yang bisa dibahas dari si salah satu perusahaan teknologi terbesar di dunia ini. Jadi apa sebenernya yang mentrigger Hani untuk nulis? Justru postingan salah satu teman  di facebook tentang apa yang sedang terjadi di sekitar daerah rumahnya. Doi posting foto ini nih, tadaaaa…

Mobil ini kebetulan sedang wara-wiri di daerah rumahnya di sekitar Perumahan Babakan Jeruk, Bandung. Untuk yang familiar, mungkin langsung ngeh ini mobil apa. Tapi untuk yang gak tau, ya bisa juga sih nebak dari tulisan yang ada di body mobil; “Ooohh.. ini toh Google Maps Sreet View…” (sambil ngangguk-ngangguk liat bola di atasnya). Lalu pertanyaan berikutnya, untuk apakah sebenarnya mobil ini??

Tebakan umum pertama yang keluar dari orang-orang yang liat adalah, mobil ini pasti sedang ngambil denah jalan, update peta untuk Google Maps, dan bikin versi lebih lengkapnya, karena sekarang udah bisa ditambah nampilin rumah-rumah yang dilewatin.  Sebagai orang awam juga, reaksinya ternyata bisa macem-macem, ada yang seneng karena rumahnya nongol masuk internet, ada yang nunggu kapan rumahnya dilewatin, ada yang khawatir takut pas lewat mereka lagi jemur sesuatu depan rumah, tapi ada juga yang kritis langsung antisipasi segala kemungkinan yang bisa terjadi.

“Wah, ketauan dong bentuk rumah kita ntar, bisa ngegampangin para maling?”, “Ini udah izin pemerintah belum ya, atau ada undang-undang-nya?”, “Emang warga sekota udah tanda tangan ngebolehin rumahnya di-shoot?”, begitulah sebagian orang yang kritis lalu peduli tentang privasinya. Sedangkan untuk sebagian yang lain: “Yaudah lah.. ini kan street view, domain public, dan juga for people good, lagian paling hanya ambil tampilan luar. Toh nantinya kita juga make layanannya”. Kira-kira begitu untuk kalangan yang pro dan agree by default. Menarik bukan?

Yang menarik adalah, seandainya saja, oh seandainya saja, kita bisa meluangkan waktu untuk mencari tau apa yang terjadi di sekitar kita, sebenarnya dengan mudah kita juga akan menemukan fakta-fakta yang menarik. Tapi mungkin rerata karakter orang kita memang ramah dan husnudzon (berprasangka baik), jadi yasudah…
Fyi, mobil ini sudah beroperasi dari sejak tahun 2007. Dan sebenarnya kalo cuma untuk bikin peta, mereka gak perlu ini. Apa untungnya ngambil tampilan depan rumah orang? Kenyataannya, privasi yang dilanggar bukan cuma soal itu, melainkan karena mobil ini juga sebenernya nyambi sebagai mobil spy, yang ngumpulin data wifi, email, dan password. Di Eropa dan kawasan lain, mobil ini sudah sangat dibatasi pergerakannya sejak 2010. Bahkan di Amerika aja, kasusnya pun masih diproses. Di tahun 2010, mereka didakwa karena mengakui memang mengcopy data-data password dan email. Perusahaan di California juga mengakui bahwa antena mobil itu men-scan jaringan wireless, termasuk wi-fi rumah, yang menghubungkan jutaan PC ke internet. Google mengintegrasikan lokasi, nama dan kode-kode identifikasi dari jutaan jaringan itu dan memasukkannya ke database mereka untuk kepentingan penjualan iklan. Jadi ya ampuun.. data-datanya itu loh.. Banyak negara yang concerned sama isu ini, sementara untuk di kita sendiri, well.. sepertinya mobil ini bisa terus menyadap dengan sedap. Bahkan kalo cari street view di negara-negara Asia Tenggara, untuk Thailand, Vietnam, Filipina, dan Malaysia aja (terakhir sih) belum ada, sedangkan untuk Indonesia ini paling lengkap. Seakan data-data pribadi kita yang mereka ambil dari smartphone kita belum cukup. Jadi, jangan heran kalo semua kebutuhan orang Indonesia nanti resepnya ada disana.

So, menurut kalian gimana? Ya memang sih, namanya juga perusahaan informasi. Dan mereka janjinya akan membenahi soal kebijakan privasi ini. (Gila ya, padahal revenue mereka udah sampe belasan trilyun dolar per tahun). Untuk yang pro dan tetap ngerasa santai, ya silakan, ini hanya memberi perspektif yang lain. Dan kalo untuk saya pribadi sih, bikin jadi pengen belajar lebih jauh aja soal si cyber security 😀

Hi, all!

It had been years since the last time i wrote here, haha.. Many things to do, and yea.. of course many things worth to share. But to manage the time to be effective is still a big homework for me. Anyway, I also write some posts in another blog, specifically in bahasa, while most of the contents are reshare information that (hopefully) will be useful for others, just to differentiate this web that I intend to be my own private sharing space which is also fully in (my-own-style-practical) English =p

Just like now, I didnt expect that I want to write today, but when I do, I can’t hold it.

If only you know, guys, I have a very long list of topics that I want to discuss about here, but perhaps those things will only truly written if I have a whole time of the world, really >,< Maybe I should lower my expectation of myself that I always have to write a long-comprehensive post, instead of make the short-shallow one. It only made me actually NEVER wrote, while at the same time, I keep posting on facebook page and tweeting! Why didnt I share here? The facebook posts and tweets might be drowned and disappeared, but blog posts will always remained and waited to be read by anyone (beside also as my own reminder). So.. here i am, trying to change my habit, exercising muscles again. Ready?

Fyuuh~ But since it is gonna be the “warming-up” post, so let’s get started by the fun one xD

As the title above, I wanna give u a free e-book. No, not the illegal one. It permitted to be shared directly from the author. And know what? This is a pictorial book for kids, yay! ^,^/ Haha… For those who know me personally, must have known that I’m a huge fan of kids book. And for those who not, well.. now I told u that I am. I have become the admirer of this kind of book since around 2008, since somebody introduced me to the magical things that this could create. I even ever illustrate a serie of pictorial kids book, and it got me deeper to its world. No, no, please.. don’t get me wrong. It doesnt mean that I’m kind of people that surrender self to be trapped in childhood. No. We may not always easily judge people by only single thing like that. I read all kind of books, from technical journal to philosophy, history to psychology, drama to science-fiction, comics to detective novels, you name it (except motivational books, maybe xP). But kids book has attracted me to find its particularity. If we learn it well, this will lead us to explore about civilization, neuro-science, and even a thing that i called social-engineering. You can see a huge difference from people who love reading since early age and not. How the imagination works and fantasy or fairytales from bed time stories affects human thinking, or even more, how this made us collectively to be a weak nation in this scientific competitive world. Sounds serious, eh? :p But it is.. Kids book is a serious stuff. We can discuss about it for days, if you don’t mind.. well, but i know it’s not the time, haha.. We will do it later. I promise.

At the first sight i see it, I thought it was made by an illustrator and it was on sale. But after I read my friend’s story, I just knew that it was her own made picture, and she really learnt from zero to made it. Amazing! I remembered the first time I hold a pencil to write a sketch and how hard this could be.. moreover to create a good story that has an end. So, to appreciate her effort, and also to poison people to simply reading, i want to help to share it to my circle. And with the kindness of hers, you guys may also reshare it to anyone u wish. Just several pages.. yet still sweet for me.

Sheryl Sandberg – Lean In (Part 3)

In the 2nd chapter: Sit at The Table, Sheryl slapped me with her blatant truth about psychological tendencies that woman have. Something that might seems obvious, but we often reluctant to admit (like the institutional obstacles are not enough -.-“)

As woman, we rarely think about deserving achievement, position, or even compliment. We often give lower scores to ourselves about anything, while men do the reverse. Eventhough we’re good at something, we usually haunted by insecurity that we’re not good enough, there’s still a lack of something, and so on. When somebody congratulates us for a good news that they heard, we feel that we already being fraudelent and fooled them. When a plan gone aint as we wish, we always search the bad side and drop into a great degree (compared to men, who even can take that so easily). And know what? To complete all those messy feelings, these mental problems for women could take very serious impact for a long time. Oh, well~

And yea.. anyway, I got a new term from this chapter, that is: Impostor syndrome – phenomenon of capable people being plagued by self-doubt. Coz, for example, even when a woman was offered an executive position in a company, while everybody thinks that she is the fittest person for it, she herself might think hundred times more than man to receive and say “yes, I’m ready”. Hufft~

I think everybody should know this. Be a woman and a leader is not easy. We really need to adjust our intellectual and emotional capacity. Me myself is gonna practice more each day.. to think slightly like a man.. just feel good about achievement, regardless to its imperfection.. give higher scores to myself and feel deserve about many great things.. to not so desperate when bad luck comes… courage to take risks and make any opportunities fit for us… enjoy the life, coz the ups and downs are unavoidable. Just let it flow, Hani.. just let it flow.. not go with the flow, but GROW with the flow.. coz your happiness is all depend on you.
